Our story
Powerlit was founded in October 2023 out of a shared passion for watersports and electric boating. We, Brent and Antonie, are two entrepreneurs with the same dream: making electric boating smarter, more sustainable, and more accessible for everyone.
At Powerlit, we combine our strengths. Brent brings his technical expertise and market insight. He understands exactly what customers are looking for and enthusiastically demonstrates how electric boating works, both in practice and on camera.
Antonie ensures that everything looks sleek and professional: from the design and webshop to the photos, videos, and service. He handles the logistics, paperwork, and everything else needed to establish Powerlit reliably and effectively, both online and offline.
Together, we build Powerlit every day with great pleasure and dedication. We supply high-quality batteries and motors that we fully support, and we work daily on new innovations, such as our own line of 48V motors and batteries. Because this is just the beginning!

October 2023
Start of Powerlit
In October 2023, Powerlit was born from a simple idea: electric boating could be better. We saw the opportunity to make boating more sustainable and easier, so we decided to go for it. With a great deal of passion and a healthy dose of entrepreneurship, we set to work developing high-quality batteries and solutions.
January 2024
First customers!
In early 2024, we welcomed our first customers. People who, like us, believe in the future of electric boating. The trust they placed in us gave us the energy to continue growing and further improving our products.
March 2025
First ever collaboration
Our first collaboration soon followed: with Bootschappen Watersport from Alkmaar.
Thanks to this partnership, we were able to offer our batteries and motors to an even wider audience, making electric boating even more accessible to everyone with a sloop or boat.
May 2025
Bauhaus Collaboration
A new major step: in May 2025, our products will also be available through BAUHAUS. A fantastic milestone that cements Powerlit's place among the leading names in the water sports world.
Future
Looking ahead to the future
We're constantly looking ahead. We're currently working hard on the launch of our own 48V electric motors and batteries. With these, we aim to make electric boating more powerful, smarter, and more sustainable. And this is just the beginning!
